ARCHIVE.

I'm intrigued by the horizon line and light. My work has its roots in childhood trips to the Georgia coast where I first witnessed the wide open spaces that both awed and frightened me.

My intention is to transport the viewer to their own perceived location, but more importantly, the emotion they associate with that place.

My process is reductive.  Compositions are built by adding and subtracting layers of oil in order to create iridescence, depth, and mysteriousness.
