COLOR.

These paintings are informed by my fascination with color theory- the study of how colors work together and how they affect our emotions and perceptions. My work with color is an experiment that creates endlessly surprising results. I follow a course of layering oil and allowing it to dry between applications. The colors overlap but do not mix creating a mysterious iridescence.
