My Color paintings are informed by my fascination with color theory, interaction and the study of how color affects our emotions and perceptions. My process is mostly experimental and creates endlessly surprising results. I follow a course of layering oil and allowing it to dry between applications. The colors overlap but do not mix creating a mysterious iridescence.
